Financing has become a prominent issue for REALTORS® as financial institutions have tightened their lending requirements. This session explains the basics of financial qualifying, explores various loan programs and shows how to determine if the borrower and the property both qualify for the loan. You’ll learn how to financially qualify a buyer, and how to assist a buyer in comparing loan products, as well as how to help a buyer make a selection which is financially feasible and beneficial to them. This session covers fundamental behaviors and actions that can derail an agent’s career.

10 Things That Realtors® Do To Mess up Their Lives!

This session covers fundamental behaviors and actions that can derail an agent’s career. It emphasizes the importance of planning, customer service, the importance of details, time management, serving consumers, and keeping current with real estate trends. The core concept starts with why agents fail in the business and what they can do to keep from failing. The author’s premise is that a long time tenured, professional base of licensees is best able to serve the public, and that the attrition rate in real estate harms the individual as well as the industry. Some of the top ‘derailers’ are carelessness, unethical behavior, illegal behavior, not keeping current, and failing to plan.
